Musa acuminata. Cavendish banana - Naturally grown, air-dried, and sustainably hand-harvested. The process includes cleaning of the fruit, peeled, macerated, milled, deseeded, pasteurized, dehydrated, sifted, filling and packing.
Appearance, Aroma & Flavour
Bright yellow-orange granular flakes with a mild banana aroma and flavour.
Can be reconstituted with water in a 1:3 ratio to be used like fresh mashed banana (great for a baby food). Add banana flakes to your cereal, smoothies or yogurt; use to thicken beverages and hot cereal; or use in baking and cooking. It can be used to flavor desert toppings, cakes, icings, purees etc.
Storage & Shelf Life
Store in a cool, dark pantry and these flakes should stay good for up to 2 years.
